Skis from A to Z - the right model for every need at xspo
Not all skis are the same - there are different types of skis for every requirement profile. When making your choice, you should therefore make sure that the ski suits your skiing style and your desired area of use.
Slalom, all-mountain or race - which ski is right for you?
The variety of ski models is almost unmanageable. Therefore, before buying a model from our online shop, you should consider which type of ski best meets your expectations. On the one hand, this naturally includes your ability, on the other hand your preferences for speed, type of piste, the radii of curves or off-piste skiing.
If you are a beginner and are looking for a real all-rounder, all-mountain or all-round skis are a good choice. They are very versatile and also cut a fine figure off-piste. Due to their width, they are rather sluggish on the piste, but this is precisely why they are particularly popular with beginners and those returning to the sport. They also forgive skiing mistakes and are easy on the skis.
Sport carvers are just as versatile, but much faster. They are a perfect combination of all-round, all-mountain, race and slalom carvers. This is due to their special design: in the front area of the waist, they are reminiscent of slalom carvers, while the rear area is designed like a race carver. As they are less wide than all-mountain skis, skiers can reach higher speeds.
If you are an ambitious skier with experience, you should opt for the race or slalom carvers. They offer ultimate carving action at high speeds thanks to good edge grip. While slalom carvers enable tight radii due to their low waist, race carvers are best suited for long turns.
If you are unsure about your choice, the filter can help you. This allows you to sort the skis according to Driving skills, desired terrain, skiing style and gender. This allows you to compare all suitable models at a glance and discover the best deals.
