Backland UL is the new Atomic helmet tailor-made for skimo athletes and tourers looking to stay super light.
Everything about it is focused on protection and comfort with less weight: The Hybrid EPP In-Mold Construction is durable, lightweight and supremely safe. Beneath the shell, Holocore and AMID (Atomic Multi-directional Impact Deflector) cut weight but also provide up to 40% higher impact protection than industry safety standards.
It's also multi-norm certified for skiing, climbing and cycling - complete with a lightweight Skimo lining perfect for winter touring or long summer bike rides. And like all Backland helmets it comes with the little details that make a big difference like headlamp fixation, removeable strap station and reflective elements.
