The innovative Micro AFD toe piece of the Shift² 10 MN is equipped with an integrated aluminium power block for efficient stabilisation and stepless adjustments. This enables extremely precise interaction with the ski boot. After extensive testing by the Atomic freeride team, it was confirmed that the binding has 30% more lateral stiffness, which results in optimised power transmission and increased durability.
In addition, larger toe clamps improve damping, while a large toe lever increases stability and robustness. A more stable brake lever fixes the binding reliably and prevents unintentional release. The revised climbing aid, which raises the heel position by 4 mm, promotes an ergonomic ascent movement.
