The GSL Race Comp from Hestra is a ski glove specially designed for giant slalom, which was developed in collaboration with Swedish ski racer Sara Hector. This 5-finger glove is the more robust version of the well-known classic RSL Comp Vertical Cut and was specifically designed for the extreme demands of racing.
The backhand of the GSL Race Comp is characterised by its special durability and protective function, yet remains flexible enough to ensure an optimal grip on the ski pole. Made from robust goatskin, which is known for its durability and abrasion resistance, this glove offers additional protection thanks to reinforcements made from synthetic suede and ceramic material on the fingers and knuckles. These materials increase the glove's resistance to mechanical impact and ensure longer durability.
The pre-shaped fingers with outer seams optimise grip, which is particularly important in racing, where every second counts. The flexible foam padding on the back of the hand offers additional protection against knocks and impacts without restricting freedom of movement. Inside, a lining made of soft, brushed polyester combined with the warming and moisture-wicking Primaloft Gold synthetic filling ensures a high level of comfort and warmth.
