The RSL Comp glove from Hestra is an ideal racing glove for slalom and giant slalom, offering powerful and practical hand protection. It combines advanced technology and proven performance that has been appreciated by athletes for decades. The integration of d30 elements, which are made from a high-tech material with intelligent molecules, makes this glove particularly unique. These elements are soft and elastic under normal conditions, but harden abruptly on impact, effectively absorbing the energy of the impact.
This glove is not only known for its advanced protective properties, but also for its historical significance in skiing: Swedish skier Jonas Nilsson won World Championship gold in the slalom in 1985 with an earlier model of the RSL Comp. Today, the racing glove follows the same functional construction as the original and consists of over a hundred individual parts that guarantee a tight and perfect grip.
The hard-wearing goatskin leather with outer seams and reinforcements in particularly stressed areas ensures durability and robustness. The inside of the glove is made of soft, brushed polyester with a synthetic Thermolite filling for warmth and moisture transport. A leather strap with Velcro fastening on the wrist allows for a customised and comfortable fit that is easy to adjust.
