The Gripen GS Mitt is an advanced racing glove developed specifically for giant slalom in close collaboration with the Swedish and Norwegian national alpine teams. This mitten model is the ideal choice for athletes who need extra warmth without sacrificing performance.
This glove is characterised by its pre-curved fit and a 5-finger inner lining that provides a perfect grip despite the enveloping mitten construction. The Gripen GS Mitt offers outstanding protection thanks to two layers of shock-absorbing material: The first layer is made of d30, a high-tech material that is soft and elastic under normal conditions, but becomes hard on impact and absorbs the energy of the impact. The second layer of classic, stable foam reinforces this protection.
The outer material made of robust, impregnated goatskin effectively protects against wind and weather, while the polyamide stretch fabric ensures excellent mobility of the fingers. Additional reinforcements made of ceramic material on the knuckles and thumb improve the durability and lifespan of the glove.
Inside, soft, brushed polyester combined with a synthetic filling ensures warmth and moisture management. A neoprene cuff with adjustable Velcro fastening ensures a tight and secure fit on the wrist.
