The new Alpinist Free 11 from Marker is the ideal choice for ski tourers weighing up to 100 kg who are looking for both long ascents and sporty descents. With a Z-value of 4.0 to 11.0 and a weight of just 375 g including brake, it is extremely light and yet offers outstanding power transmission and skiing performance thanks to the new, wider base.
Like the predecessor model, this version also has carbon-reinforced and particularly stiff ISI front jaws. The wide base enables automatic correct entry, while the ingenious kinematics of the pin levers ensure that the pins snap securely into place at the slightest pressure. The heel section offers an adjustment range of 35 mm as well as ascent aids of 0°, 5° and 9° to offer you maximum comfort in any terrain.
The wide drill pattern reinforces the excellent power transmission to the edges, while the active length compensation preserves the natural flex behaviour of the ski.
Particularly sustainable: from this season, the Alpinist Free 11 will be produced using 100% renewable energy and recycled or bio-based plastic. The binding is completely recyclable and thus combines performance with environmental awareness.
