The new Levator Mips has been developed to further improve safety and offer absolute functionality on the mountain. To do this, it combines an integrated visor with enhanced protection zones around the head for added safety on the slopes.
The extended visor offers a wider field of vision than any POC goggle, so you can be sure your peripheral vision is as good as it physically can be. A simple lens change mechanism makes it easy to swap out lenses so you always have the best vision for the conditions. An additional lens, the POC Clarity Comp Low Light lens, is included and ensures that you can see optimally in all light conditions. While the large Clarity lens attracts attention, it is the safety technology under the shell that sets the helmet apart. The flexible protection zones are located in the areas likely to be hit in a fall, and the zones at the back of the head are thicker for extra protection.
MIPS Evolve also offers rotational impact protection, and RECCO® Avalanche Rescue Reflectors improve your findability when you get lost in the mountains. Additional comfort is provided by a soft Alcantara liner in the lower part of the helmet, which ensures great freedom of movement.
