Developed exclusively for SCOTT with D3O® technology, the Airflow and Airflow Pro plates offer outstanding protection. The unique design of the plate ensures high breathability, keeping you cool and comfortable even on the toughest descents. D3O® is a unique material that focuses on the distribution of impact energy in critical areas to provide shock absorption and protection in a class of its own. The functionality of the raw materials comes from the synergistic effect of polymer-based dilatancy. Energy is dispersed through the synthetic elastomer polymer, while the enhanced chemistry further disperses this energy through the matrix and significantly reduces the impact effect.
Airflow plates
The Airflow panels offer you safety on every ski adventure while reducing the harmful impact on our environment. These panels are made from partially bio-based materials and are combined with a garment made from recycled materials. This means they meet SCOTT's requirements that more than 50% of the product weight must come from more sustainable resources that are certified by third-party suppliers.
