The Sweet Protection Back Protector Race Vest has been specially developed for alpine ski racing, freeride skiing or snowboarding, where maximum protection is required. This race waistcoat is not only certified according to the demanding EN 1621-2:2014 standard at level 2 and thus offers excellent protection, but is also characterised by its thicker padding, which provides additional safety.
The back protector waistcoat combines comfort with lightness and offers maximum protection. The back protection material is made of viscoelastic foam from SAS-TEC, which is soft and comfortable to wear, but has impressive shock-absorbing properties. Despite its high level of protection, the protective padding is only 19 mm thin, which does not restrict freedom of movement.
The waistcoat has a wide waistband that allows for customisation to ensure a perfect fit and comfort. If maximum safety for the back is required, we recommend the race version of this protective waistcoat. Ideal for skiers and snowboarders who do not want to compromise on their safety.
