The Sweet Protection Looper MIPS is the ideal helmet for skiers and snowboarders who are out and about in the park as well as in the backcountry. With its sleek and progressive design, the Looper MIPS offers maximum performance in a minimalist, modern package. Behind the sleek look lies a host of innovative features that ensure optimum protection and comfort. The only difference to the standard model is the MIPS safety system, which offers additional protection.
The MIPS system (Multidirectional Impact Protection System) was developed to reduce the rotational movement that can occur with oblique impacts to the head. These movements are often a cause of concussions or more serious brain injuries. The MIPS system consists of a low-friction layer that moves slightly inside the helmet in the event of an impact to dissipate the forces acting on the head and thus minimise the risk of brain injuries.
The moulded-in impact shields distribute the impact energy in the crucial zones of the helmet, while the extensive ventilation ensures a comfortable head climate. The integrated goggle garage offers seamless goggle integration and prevents the lenses from fogging up. Removable ear pads and the Audio Ready System allow you to enjoy your favourite music on the slopes.
