The Rotor-Fleece from Swix is ideal for applying and polishing top coats on skis, especially when using liquid glide waxes. This special tool not only improves the performance of the wax, but also contributes to its longer durability.
For optimum use of the Rotor-Fleece, Swix recommends using a drill with a minimum speed of 1800 rpm. This ensures that the wax is effectively worked into the ski base and that a uniform polish is achieved. Run the brush in overlapping movements from the front of the ski to the end to ensure complete coverage and deep treatment.
It is important not to apply too much pressure while brushing. Too much pressure can lead to excessive heat build-up, which could damage the ski base. A gentle, even application is crucial to maintain the integrity of the base and achieve optimal results. This approach will help to get the best glide out of your wax and keep your skis in top shape.
