The XSPO test team was delighted with how stable the Peregrine 80 proved to be in a wide range of piste conditions. This model from Völkl is characterised in particular by its easy accessibility and therefore appeals to a particularly broad target group. The Peregrine 80 offers skiing fun in all snow conditions and is ideal for skiers looking for a balanced skiing experience.
Inspired by its predecessor model, the Deacon 80, Völkl also uses a Titanal strap that runs along the centre of the ski from tip to tail in the Peregrine 80. This ensures a reliable and stable ride quality by maintaining overall stiffness while minimising weight. The Titanal allows the skier to enjoy a balanced mix of smoothness and liveliness. The proven Tailored Carbon Tips, which are also used on the Peregrine 82, provide additional manoeuvrability with less effort.
Thanks to the Lowride Integrated Binding System, which is also optionally available with the TCX heel, getting in and out is comfortable and effortless. This makes the Peregrine 80 particularly suitable for skiers who want to get back on the piste after an injury, or for more petite individuals looking for a smooth and playful skiing experience.
